I’ve always heard the statement;
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars.
Yes, I get it and understand that it is just implying to set your goals high and really go for and get what you want out of life. I feel that the only people who should really use that quote should be astronauts and aspiring astronauts. Most of us don’t really have a realistic goal to land on the moon and a plan to make it happen.
Rather than shooting for the moon; shoot for {insert what you really want to do and accomplish here}. Make your goals and plans Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely (SMART). That might work out better for you.
Also, don’t be afraid to take a leap of faith every now and again.
