The Power of a few solid Handshakes

Recently Hollis Carter and Tyler English attended Mike Filsaime’s Marketer’s Cruise to a few exotic destinations. We hear they had a blast, but what is even more important, for HC Consulting in particular, is that Hollis and Tyler were out to find some solid Joint Venture Partners in light of creating natural, mutual, and beneficial relationships (NMBs)

Knowing the common denominator that all internet marketers seem to be taking advantage of is a combination of a few essential elements in light of ultimately making a NMB.

1.) Have a niche to focus on.

2.) Have a few products in mind, whether they are yours or others, that you can promote online.

3.) Have a place to platform and base these offers off of, in light of converting a sale.

4.) Have a list of guys that can help you out, in the form of simple joint venture partners (JVs).

Going back to the marketers’ cruise, it was so evident how important it is to have a list of JVs that operate in the same niche as you, who can push send to their list of subscribers, in hopes of promoting your offer. You will need to reciprocate this direct referral to your list as well, but from here you are well on your way.

Think of it this way; if you own a camera store, and there is a guy down the street who has a film development company, you would probably want to go down there and make some sort of deal with him. The deal would be something like this:

“If someone buys a camera from me (referred to me by you), would you be willing to throw in 30 free picture prints (5x7s) if I give you 15% commission on that referrral?”

Seriously, it’s as simple as that.  You can make little deals with all sorts of people in your niche market, and the dollars will flow because you have made that NMB.
