Logos are a centerpiece of your brand. We live in a way too noisy environment and are exposed to way too many concepts and ideas to remember them all.
Our minds organize information into categories. Your company’s logo should be the symbol for everything that your company represents.
If you do not have a logo or are thinking about redesigning your logo, there are a few key points to account for.
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, stupid / smart
Complicated logos make it a bit more difficult for our brains to categorize things. Shoot for a single, simple visual image that can relate all other facts about your company and your core mission. Complicated logos are often difficult to distinguish visually at a distance or when the printed in a small size.
What Colors to use?
The fewer colors you can use in your logo, the better. It may be printed across many different mediums and often will be printed in black and white. A two color logo is ideal, but some world class designs have been with more.
What do you represent?
Make your logo represent you. If you are an upscale and classy restaurant – your logo should scream classy.
If you are a tatoo shop – feel free to get a heck of a lot more complex.
If you are interested in having our in-house (and world class) design team create a new or update an existing logo or even site design – we would love to work with you and show you our teams skills.
