These emails are not so average because we spend careful time making them personal, and on video. Your potential clients will be more compelled to open an email from you, if you send them a link to your video. Now that you have your clients knowing that you are a personal bunch, you have to keep it that way.
–Thank You Pages: ..So your client decides to take the plunge, and buy your product. Now you have to thank them. After the transaction goes through, make sure that your new customer is sent to a thank you page. This can be redirected, or sent via email, but make sure that it’s sincere. Offer them all the stepping stones that they need in order to get started and mention that you have a support line. We use Google Voice for our phone service, and Google Mail for keep in touch with our clients.
–A Person to Take Care of it all: Now that you have your clients, they are going to ask questions of all sorts. Make sure that your support phone and email address is legit and clearly notated. The last thing that you want is credit card charge backs, and so you will need to have a solid refund policy, as well as a person to take care of it all. The person can be you, but as time goes on you may want to delegate this to someone to take some of the load off of you. This person needs to be qualified in customer service, and be extremely knowledgeable in all the ins and outs of our your business. They need to be able to talk to your clients kindly and be the go to person for all communications.
–Getting Feedback: Above all, the best tasks that your support people can do are this. They can increase customer retention, and in doing so, they can establish a great relationship with your clients. Throughout this relationship process, it is critical that your customer service representative is always looking for, and documenting feedback from your customers. This feedback will slowly, but surely improve many elements of your business. Remember that what your customers think of you, and what needs to be improved upon, can easily be discovered through your support lines of communication.
So there you have it. Your clients purchased your product, they were thanked and shown how personal you are, and then they obtained access to your support staff. They are now able ask questions, build a relationship with your company, and feel taken care of over all. You now have clients that trust you, and will come back for more, if you are able to come out with good quality products, that your clients will like. The best part about it is that you now have a support staff that can assess and gather whats needed to really make your clients happy.

Really I feel that Google Buzz’s release was a little premature, especially with the recent concern of privacy. I really think that Google’s most likely going down the same path that Windows went through around the era of Windows 98. There releases and products seem to be less planned and I feel that rushed in an attempt to be 1st to market, and compete with a competitors release. The breach of privacy was an issue that did not require was a very simple issue to figure out, a very basic review session could have shown these issues. Do you think Google may have received too much credit last year?
