So the first question we get a lot is can I do this part time?

Obviously a lot of people have jobs and can’t dedicate 40 hours a week to a business like this, and you can most definitely do this part time. As a matter of fact since we’re giving you a virtual assistant for you to use, you really just need to understand the plan and send work off to your virtual assistant for your first month that you have access to get his up and running. If you did do this yourself – you could still do this part time if your actions are focused and you follow the steps that we provide in our on-going training.  Getting distracted is one of the major issues most people face and one of the main reasons that people don’t make a success of this venture.  Ideally, you want to run this full time.

How much money can I expect and how long will it take?

The answer really depends on two main things. The first is the niche market you decide to go into. We know that local markets are very powerful. For instance picking different local areas, running deals in those areas, is a very profitable business because it’s very easy to get a lot of customers and a lot of great merchants. It’s very easy because they understand the Groupon model already and many companies have been using that.  There is a good chance that the town or city you live in, doesn’t even have a daily deal site running yet (is “yourtown deals.com available)?  Even if Groupon or LivingSocial are in your city – you can still make a huge success because people don’t have much brand loyalty to Groupon or LivingSocial – just the deals that they bring to the table.

Niche markets, there’s some that obviously have higher margins. I’ve even seen people doing things like exotic vacations and things like that. So your niche and your products you are selling are going to be a large determinant of how much money you can make.  Outdoor gear, technology, and random activities seem to be really hot right now.  Selling products as an affiliate in this model has worked really well also.

Now, how long does it take?

It really just takes as long as it takes for you to get the first week of deals up.  And to actually get the whole site and system up you can do that in a day no problem because we build it all for you.   You can get the deals together in a day if you have good focused time.  Realizing the way that most people work and coupled with the fact that we all have other lives to live – within a week you should be able to put something up and have it going if you’re really focused. I’ve had a couple of friends use this and you can see some pretty speedy results within a very reasonable amount of time. Much more reasonable than many other business models out there that we’ve traditionally followed.

What are the hottest niche markets and how to get involved in them?

Once again this is going to depend on the answer of local markets versus niche markets but we have a bunch of great tools inside the training area where we’re going to be doing the blueprint as well as in the webinars going over some cool tools to actually find what niche markets have more money obviously by who has more internet visitors, who’s spending money on these products, things like that. The traffic software we provide you also has one of the best niche and keyword selection tools available on the internet.

One of the quickest and best ways to really understand is to just go look where someone else is doing it successfully. If Groupon or LivingSocial or one of those people are already in that local city there is a really good chance that you can absolutely just pop right in there because you already know that they’re making money from this. You already know the merchants understand this idea, the customers in the area understand this idea and enjoy getting deals also. There’s obviously enough money to be made. The coolest part about this is that the customers really don’t have a brand loyalty to Groupon, either do the merchants. They both just love the idea of getting great deals or getting new customers, and you can provide that service very easily.

Can I have multiple licenses or set up in multiple cities, categories, or sub-niche markets?

All you need is one site license.  You’ve probably bought stuff in the past where you have to buy more things in order to make it work. The only other thing you might need is a merchant account and paypal account.

Say you get San Deigo rockin’ and rollin’ – doing really well, it took you about 3 weeks to set up and you’re ready to move on, you’ve got offers lined up for the next month or so and you don’t really need to do any work with that, well the easy thing you need to do with no extra cost to you, is to create a new location, and repeat that process and you can scale your business as much as you want with advertising and things like that.  This is done inside your admin panel by simply adding a new location or category.

So what are the ways I can make money again?

Well, there are multiple ways you can make money.  Obviously, email lists are very profitable. Using email lists for growing your Groupon type deals is going to be huge. So there’s two ways I really recommend dealing with the merchants for the group buying sites. That is an upfront fee, which actually allows the merchant to make more money than you for the most part, because chances are 50% of whatever they’re selling is going to be more than say a $500 – $3000 upfront fee that you might collect. But in your sales cycle and depending on your customers we’ll help you with that in the coaching program. You’ll want to decide how you’ll market that.

We also have people selling sponsorships and things like that. My good friend Jonny Andrews’ new wife is one of the head reps for Jim Beam and I know that he’s doing a drink deals site and he’s currently in like the process of getting Jim Beam to sponsor that with a header they’re going to pay for, and hopefully drive some traffic with that as well.

Also a lot of other really cool ways, that we’ll talk about in the coaching program, about driving traffic.  I just want to keep it simple right now so you can make the most educated decision.

So – no you do not have to buy anything else to make this work.

How do I expect to compete with Groupon, LivingSocial?

I kind of just went over this but basically what you’ve got is  the simple system that works because it gets businesses new customers and it helps customers get great deals. And it helps you by driving a lot of traffic because both those people really want those positive things to come out of their experience with you, as well as the tools we give you.  These people don’t have loyalty to Groupon and LivingSocial they might have loyalty in the sense that they’re always going to check their emails but if they have another group buying site they really enjoy, or deal of the day site, you know they’re going to take action on that as well.

I’m living in an overseas area, will this work?

Inside your administrator account you’ll actually be able to chose the currency the you prefer for your products so it actually doesn’t matter if your overseas or not.  If you have different language barriers, we can talk to you about that just emailsupport@hcdesk.com

I’m a newbie and not technical.

No problem.

I’ve never actually built a website and run the software. Essentially you’re going to submit the domain name and it will create the site for you and you can choose a variety of really great looking templates.  We also have screen casts for each step of the way. Very minimal set up time is required.  Customization is very straight forward and no technical skills are needed. If you haven’t actually done a business of your own before or especially an internet business we’re also going to be providing you with a jumpstart call to make sure you submit the right domain name and get off the ground correctly.

How do I drive traffic when I launch my site?

Multiple ways you’re going to be doing this. All of this is covered in the blueprint as well as in the coaching program, and our support staff will help you when you need to know certain ways how to do this. But the main ways…  There’s obviously your typical joint venture/affiliate traffic you’re getting. Your merchants you’re using are going to want to promote your website to any email following they might have. The customers are going to want to make sure the deal goes through so they’re going to be promoting through social media, email marketing things like that. And those are two very easy ways of traffic, they’re common, they’re very targeted and they work very well.

We also gave you the search engine optimization generation tool. It’s called HC traffic pro. You’ll get access to that to start getting some search engine ranking and an instant jumpstart in traffic. We’re also going to teach you about a lot of businesses out there whose only job is to build email lists to promote sites like this.  There is a lot of people who want to know about deal sites and are pretty much in the business of creating mail for that. There are also some sites that aggregate these sites you can list on such as BradsDeals.  You can Google Daily Deal Aggregator and you will see a large list of results to promote your website it.  We’ll teach you some other really cool methods inside too.
