When all is said and done, the primary component that determines whether or not a deal business becomes successful, and more importantly will remain successful, gets boiled down to the quality of deals that are being offered.
You can have the most innovative technology, the greatest team, best business plan, and the largest subscriber base around, however if you are not putting a major focus into offering high quality, in-demand deals at special discounts — you probably won’t stay around for too long.
This industry is all about making customers and merchants happy. Period.
A merchant won’t be happy if they end up losing money from their promotion and a customer won’t be happy if they order a deal from you and the merchant drops the ball. You can’t make a poor business better; you can only market deals.
Choose your merchants wisely and advise them on how to maximize the deal they are running. Remarkable deals cause people to remark and share them and when your primary focus is on delivering discounts on the highest quality products and services – you have a great chance to continue growing.
