Virtual Assets

Let’s face it…

Owning assets like cars, homes, gold, equipment, boats,  stocks, bonds, mutual funds, commodities, investment real estate, futures, options, property, hedge funds, and so on is typically a great thing.

Right?

Yes, most every time (unless you own property on a toxic waste land or your boat cost more to maintain than it’s worth).

What most people fail to realize is that owning VIRTUAL assets are an absolutely amazing and profitable thing to own also.

The internet is an extremely powerful thing and you NEED to own some assets virtually.

How much of the following do your currently possess and are you utilizing the below assets to their fullest potential?

  • Domain names
  • Useful content and interaction on those domain names
  • Proprietary Information
  • Software
  • Intellectual property (books, videos, audio etc)
  • Targeted email lists

Do you have some virtual assets that will be gaining value as you get older so that you can pass them along to future generations after you?

It is very true that to be wealthy, you need to own lots of assets, but these assets must be of a certain type.

In the world of wealth creation we need to define assets differently so that we can easily distinguish between assets that help you become wealthy like stocks or investment real estate and assets that don’t help you at all.

In terms of wealth creation we can define assets as either Good assets or Bad assets

Good assets, when owned, put money in your bank account.

All these assets have the ability to put money in your pocket and they are commonly called investments.

Bad assets take money out of your bank account.

They are things like your car, clothes, TV, stereo, mobile phone, furniture, CDs, Xbox, boat, and so on.

Bad assets take money out of your pocket in three main ways.

  1. They cost you money to buy
  2. They usually cost you money to maintain
  3. They have an opportunity cost

So back to point at hand… virtual assets.

How many domain names do you own that are just sitting there parked  (bad assets).

woh I am thankful to find this website through google.

Dude, please tell me that youre heading to create extra. I notice you havent written an additional weblog for a while (Im just catching up myself). Your weblog is just too important to be missed. Youve received so a lot to say, these knowledge about this topic it would be a shame to see this weblog disappear. The internet needs you, man!

This was a truly quite great publish. In theory I’d prefer to publish like this also – getting time and actual effort to make a wonderful piece of writing… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to obtain a thing done.

Some really nice stuff on this internet site , I enjoy it.
